ABOUT THE FOUNDER

EJ Brown spent seven years working as a usability and user interface specialist before moving their focus to content marketing.

For the past 10 years, they’ve worked as a marketing strategist and content creator, primarily with B2B brands.

They led the content function at FastSpring, a global payments platform, where they created 7-figure annual pipeline from the blog alone.

They’ve also worked with marketing agencies, Fortune 500 companies, startups, and small businesses in the fintech, martech, custom software development, eCommerce, localization, and home services industries.

In their spare time, they host Content Marketing is Dead, a podcast and newsletter. They also freelance as a journalist (mostly social justice topics) with bylines in The Week, VICE, Outside Magazine, and many more.

Fun fact: They spent 6 months traveling with their two dogs in a camper. They still travel a lot in their truck, Little Mama.
